    Fasilo Gino ma swoje korzenie w rodzinnym gospodarstwie, które Amadio Fasoli założył w 1925 roku w dolnej dolinie Illasi w północno-wschodnich Włoszech. Amadio zasadził winorośl na terenie posiadłości i zaczął sprzedawać wino do lokalnych barów i tawern w pobliskich miastach. Dziś posiadłość prowadzona jest przez wnuka Amadiego, Matteo Fasoli, który praktykuje organiczną i biodynamiczną uprawę winorośli na 20 hektarach winorośli rodziny.
    Alteo Amarone to flagowe wino rodziny Fasilo, które oferuje idealną równowagę między mocą i bogactwem tradycyjnego Amarone a elegancką miękkością na podniebieniu. Do produkcji Alteo wybierane są tylko najlepsze grona, które są suszone w małych drewnianych skrzynkach przez sześć miesięcy, aby skoncentrować smaki i cukry. Następnie są fermentowane w zbiornikach ze stali nierdzewnej i dojrzewają w dębowych beczkach przez co najmniej trzy lata.
    Rezultatem jest wspaniałe Amarone, które otwiera się intensywnymi aromatami rodzynek, czarnego pieprzu, kawy i wanilii. Na podniebieniu konsystencja jest bogata i miękka, z pełnym ciałem, gładkimi taninami i dojrzałymi smakami ciemnych owoców, które kończą się bardzo długim finiszem. Jest to idealne wino do podawania ze świeżym makaronem w towarzystwie bogatego sosu pomidorowego lub obfitego gulaszu z wołowiny bourguignon lub gulaszu.

    The Alteo Amarone is the Fasilo family’s flagship wine which offers a perfect balance between the power and richness of traditional Amarone and an elegant softness on the palate. Only the best bunches are selected to go into the Alteo and these grapes are left to dry in small wooden boxes for six months to concentrate the flavours and sugars. They are then fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in oak barrels for at least three years. The result is a magnificent Amarone which opens with intense aromas of raisins, black pepper, coffee and vanilla. On the palate the texture is rich and soft with a full body, smooth tannins and ripe dark fruit flavours
