    Założona przez Marchese Lodovico Antinori w 1981 roku, Tenuta dell'Ornellaia jest dziś jedną z najbardziej znanych włoskich winiarni. Antinori jest bratem Piero Antonori, założyciela Tenuta Tignanello i kuzynem Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, który założył Tenuta San Guido, która produkuje światowej sławy Sassicaia. Na podniebieniu bogata, gładka konsystencja, średnie ciało, miękkie taniny i długi finisz z dużą ilością aromatów ciemnych owoców doprawionych cynamonem, goździkami i suszonymi ziołami.
