    Unusually for Israel, Sphera winery only produces white wines. Sphera’s founder Doron Rav Hon studied winemaking in Burgundy where he fell in love with the region’s world famous white wines. This stunning white blend is composed primarily of Semillon along with Roussanne and Chenin Blanc. The vines are planted alongside the Shua stream on a mixture of alluvial, limestone and terra rossa or “red soils”.
