UPS spisało się fatalnie. Najpierw podali przewidywany termin dostawy, a potem kazali mojej żonie czekać cały dzień, by w końcu NIE dostarczyć przesyłki bez żadnego uprzedzenia (!). Dopiero następnego ranka poinformowali o zmianie przewidywanego terminu dostawy (!) i tym razem wszystko poszło zgodnie z planem. Cały dzień zmarnowany, nie było możliwości skontaktowania się z kurierem. Okropne doświadczenie! Aroganckie dranie.

Szampania

Najsłynniejsze francuskie wina musujące produkowane są w regionie Szampanii na północy kraju. Panujący tu chłodny klimat jest idealny do produkcji rześkich i eleganckich win musujących z lokalnych winogron Chardonnay, Pinot Noir i Pinot Meunier. Szampany Blanc de Noirs produkowane są wyłącznie z czarnych winogron Pinot Noir i Pinot Meunier, podczas gdy Blanc de Blancs zawiera tylko Chardonnay.

Jak powstaje szampan

Producenci muszą przestrzegać ścisłych zasad produkcji szampana, w tym ręcznego zbioru wszystkich winogron i starzenia wina musującego przez co najmniej 15 miesięcy w butelce. Najlepszy szampan musi być również wytwarzany przy użyciu tradycyjnej metody. Owoce przechodzą pierwotną fermentację, aby stworzyć wino bazowe, które następnie jest ponownie fermentowane w butelce.
