    Ten Tri County Pinot jest wytwarzany z owoców pochodzących z trzech różnych hrabstw w Kalifornii, z których każde ma własne oznaczenie AVA. Większość owoców pochodzi z winnicy Stanly Ranch w Carneros, najchłodniejszego z trzech obszarów, który produkuje winogrona o dużej świeżości i elegancji. Są też winogrona z winnic Alta Loma i Arroyo Loma w hrabstwie Monterey, które są sadzone na żwirowych glebach gliniastych, pomagając zablokować bogate ziemiste i dojrzałe smaki owocowe.
    Pozostała część owoców pochodzi z winnicy Los Alamos w Santa Barbara, która jest chłodzona przez pobliski Ocean Spokojny i uprawiana na piaszczystych glebach.
