Ten klasyczny Pinot Noir w stylu Nowego Świata jest dziełem rodziny Matetic, która wyemigrowała do Chile z chorwackiego wybrzeża w 1892 roku. Po wielu latach pracy na odnoszącej sukcesy farmie owiec w Punta Arenas, w 1999 roku postanowili rozpocząć produkcję wina w dolinie El Rosario w San Antonio, zaledwie 15 km od Oceanu Spokojnego. Winogrona do tej butelki pochodzą z winnic w dolinie, które są sadzone na doskonałych glebach granitowych i są uprawiane zgodnie z zasadami biodynamicznymi w harmonii z Matką Naturą. Przez większość czasu winorośl jest uprawiana na sucho, co daje niskie plony bardzo skoncentrowanych owoców. W winiarni winogrona są fermentowane przy użyciu dzikich drożdży, a młode wino jest następnie starzone w beczkach z francuskiego dębu przez 18-20 miesięcy przed butelkowaniem. SProfil smakowy jest odważny i owocowy, z dużą ilością nut cassis, jeżyn i wiśni wraz z nutami fiołków, przypraw do pieczenia i leśnej ściółki. Pierwszy łyk ujawnia lekkie ciało, żywą kwasowość i intensywne smaki, które długo utrzymują się na języku. Doskonałe wino do kaczki, dziczyzny lub pieczonej jagnięciny gotowanej z ziołami.

The grapes for this bottling are sourced from estate vineyards in the valley which are planted on excellent granitic soils and are farmed according to biodynamic principles in harmony with Mother Nature. Most of the time the vines are dry farmed which gives low yields of very concentrated fruit. The flavour profile is bold and fruit-forward with ample cassis, blackberry and cherry notes along with hints of violets, baking spice and forest floor. The first sip reveals a light body, vibrant acidity and intense flavours which linger long on the tongue
