UPS spisało się fatalnie. Najpierw podali przewidywany termin dostawy, a potem zmusili moją żonę do czekania przez cały dzień, by w końcu NIE dostarczyć przesyłki bez żadnego uprzedzenia (!). Dopiero następnego ranka poinformowali o zmianie przewidywanego terminu dostawy (!) i tym razem wszystko poszło zgodnie z planem. Cały dzień zmarnowany, nie było możliwości skontaktowania się z kurierem. Okropne doświadczenie! Aroganckie dranie.

UPS was horrible. First they announced the expected delivery and then they kept my wife waiting entire day and in the end did NOT deliver without any notice (!). The next morning only they advised the changed expected delivery date (!) and this time it was successful. The whole day waisted, no chance to call the courier. Awful experience! Arrogant bastards.

Historia

Hrabia Stephan von Neipperg, właściciel kilku ważnych posiadłości w Bordeaux, takich jak Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere i La Mondotte, zakochał się w uroczej dolinie Bessa w Bułgarii i stał się jednym z pionierów win w stylu Bordeaux w regionie. Bessa Valley położona jest na 250 ha, z czego 140 zostało już obsadzonych.

Projekt rozpoczął się w 2001 roku od zakupu ziemi od około 800 osób w rejonie wsi Ognianovo (region Pazardzhik).

Do uprawy winorośli wykorzystywane są wyłącznie patyki akacjowe.

Winiarnia ma powierzchnię 3 555 m3 i pojemność 2 500 beczek. Bessa Valley Winery używa wyłącznie beczek z francuskiego dębu - barriques. Każda z nich kosztuje około 570 euro i jest używana tylko trzy razy. Po trzecim użyciu, barriques przestają wpływać na starzenie się wina.

Fermentacja alkoholowa i maceracja odbywają się przez około 30 dni.
