Urodziny do zapamiętania z DAOU & Colomé Świętowanie urodzin mojej mamy było jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowe dzięki dwóm niesamowitym winom - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 i Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Gwiazdą wieczoru było bez wątpienia DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Od pierwszego łyku otoczyło nas swoim bogatym, aksamitnym uściskiem. Głębokie smaki ciemnych owoców, nuty kakao i doskonale zbalansowany dąb sprawiały, że każdy kieliszek był prawdziwą rozkoszą. To było odważne, a jednocześnie eleganckie wino, które bez wysiłku przyniosło ciepło i radość naszemu spotkaniu. Widok mojej mamy delektującej się każdym łykiem z uśmiechem sprawił, że wino to było jeszcze bardziej niezapomniane. Colomé Auténtico Malbec również pięknie się prezentował, z czystą ekspresją Malbec z dużych wysokości. Było potężne, z dojrzałymi jeżynami, przyprawami i gładkim, długim finiszem - doskonałe uzupełnienie wieczoru. Wina te nie tylko wzbogaciły nasz posiłek; stały się częścią uroczystości, podnosząc każdy toast i rozmowę. Serdeczne podziękowania dla DAOU i Colomé za uczynienie tej wyjątkowej okazji naprawdę niezapomnianą!

    Chateau Carbonnieux to jedna z najstarszych posiadłości w Bordeaux, której początki sięgają co najmniej XII wieku. Swoją nazwę zawdzięcza rodzinie Carbonnieux, która była właścicielem posiadłości w 1234 roku i produkowała wino do nabożeństw religijnych. Dziś jest to również jedna z największych posiadłości w Pessac-Leognan z około 92 hektarami winnic równo podzielonych między czarne i białe odmiany winogron.
    Białe wino z chateau jest szczególnie znane, ponieważ zostało przywiezione do pałacu sułtana Konstantynopola jako "woda mineralna z Carbonnieux" ze względu na swój bardzo jasny odcień.     Chateau Carbonnieux is one of Bordeaux’s oldest estates with origins dating back at least to the 12th century. The chateau’s white is particularly famous since it was brought into the Sultan of Constantinople’s palace as “mineral water from Carbonnieux” thanks to its very light hue. This clever trick enabled the wine to be served at the palace despite the Islamic ban on alcohol. Today the wine continues to be very popular thanks to the Garonne gravel soils which help to preserve plenty of freshness and fruitiness in the finished wine. The cuvee is typically composed of two-thirds Sauvignon Blanc to one-third Semillon with fermentation taking place in oak barrels. The young wine is then aged in oak for 10 months before bottling. This creates an elegant yet intense style of white Bordeaux that’s bursting with ripe stone fruit, bright citrus and gentle notes of cut grass and dried herbs
