Urodziny do zapamiętania z DAOU & Colomé Świętowanie urodzin mojej mamy było jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowe dzięki dwóm niesamowitym winom - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 i Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Gwiazdą wieczoru było bez wątpienia DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Od pierwszego łyku otoczyło nas swoim bogatym, aksamitnym uściskiem. Głębokie smaki ciemnych owoców, nuty kakao i doskonale zbalansowany dąb sprawiały, że każdy kieliszek był prawdziwą rozkoszą. To było odważne, a jednocześnie eleganckie wino, które bez wysiłku przyniosło ciepło i radość naszemu spotkaniu. Widok mojej mamy delektującej się każdym łykiem z uśmiechem sprawił, że wino to było jeszcze bardziej niezapomniane. Colomé Auténtico Malbec również pięknie się prezentował, z czystą ekspresją Malbec z dużych wysokości. Było potężne, z dojrzałymi jeżynami, przyprawami i gładkim, długim finiszem - doskonałe uzupełnienie wieczoru. Wina te nie tylko wzbogaciły nasz posiłek; stały się częścią uroczystości, podnosząc każdy toast i rozmowę. Serdeczne podziękowania dla DAOU i Colomé za uczynienie tej wyjątkowej okazji naprawdę niezapomnianą!

Zaleca się dekantację przez godzinę.Położony w pobliżu francuskiego ujścia rzeki Gironde, w AOC Pessac-Léognan, Château de Fieuzal ma bardzo stare korzenie sięgające XVI wieku, kiedy to został założony przez rodzinę Gardères. W kolejnym stuleciu posiadłość stała się własnością rodziny Fieuzal aż do 1851 roku, kiedy to zmarł ostatni potomek rodu. Od 2001 roku właścicielem firmy jest irlandzkie małżeństwo Brenda i Lochlann Quinn, a od 2007 roku operacjami zarządza Stephen Carrier. Winnice firmy rozciągają się na ponad 70 hektarach obsadzonych winoroślą w wieku około 30 lat, które korzystają z wyjątkowego terroir z glebami pokrytymi tysiącletnim żwirem.
    Mieszanka zawiera Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc i Petit Verdot. Po ręcznej selekcji winogron i fermentacji w kontrolowanej temperaturze, wino dojrzewało w dębowych beczkach przez 12-18 miesięcy.Château de Fieuzal ma głęboki czerwony kolor oraz szeroki i złożony profil aromatyczny z nutami jeżyny, czarnej wiśni i leśnych jagód oraz nutami przypraw i niuansów mineralnych. Na podniebieniu wino jest gęste z dobrze zbalansowaną strukturą i jedwabistymi, dobrze zintegrowanymi taninami. Długi i skoncentrowany finisz przywołuje owocowe nuty. Idealne do Filet Mignon lub soczystego Chateaubriand.
