Składa się w 60% z Petit Verdot i 40% Merlot, uprawianych na gliniastych glebach w regionie Alta Maremma w Toskanii.Jest to produkt Tua Rita, toskańskiej winiarni założonej przez duet męża i żony, Ritę i Virgila, w 1984 roku. Pomimo produkcji poważnych czerwonych win, wszystkie mają świeży, łatwy charakter, dzięki bliskości winnicy do wietrznego zachodniego wybrzeża Włoch. Tua Rita posiada w sumie 60 hektarów winnic, rozłożonych na pasie ziemi między Morzem Tyrreńskim a pofałdowanym, bogatym w minerały Colline Metallifere.Wino jest żywe i pełne w ustach, ze złożonymi nutami wiśni, jeżyn, malin, goździków i czarnego pieprzu.
