    Eyal Rotem założył Clos de Gat w 1998 roku we współpracy z Maison Sichel, domem negocjacyjnym z siedzibą w Bordeaux. W ciągu ostatnich lat udało mu się stworzyć jedną z najbardziej udanych butikowych winiarni w Izraelu z około 19 hektarami winnic obsadzonych międzynarodowymi odmianami.     W nosie kuszące aromaty cassis, dojrzałej śliwki i zmiażdżonych ciemnych jagód, podczas gdy pierwszy łyk ujawnia potężny profil smakowy z ciemnymi owocami i nutami słodkich przypraw, skóry i dymu drzewnego z dojrzewania w dębie. Mocne taniny i pełne ciało sprawiają, że jest to świetny pretendent do dodatkowego przechowywania w piwnicy przez następną dekadę.
