    Jedna z najstarszych posiadłości w południowym Rodanie, Domaine du Grand Tinel została założona pod koniec XVIII wieku pod nazwą Chateauneuf Calcernier. W 1906 roku posiadłość stała się jednym z pierwszych producentów Chateauneuf du Pape, który faktycznie zaczął butelkować własne wina. Dziś posiadłość ma 56 hektarów winorośli z wyjątkową różnorodnością rodzajów gleby i znaczną częścią starych winorośli, które pomagają produkować bardzo złożone i intensywne wina.
    Klasyczne wino Chateauneuf du Pape z domeny składa się głównie z Grenache wraz z mniejszą ilością Syrah i Mourvedre posadzonych na skalistych i piaszczystych glebach.     The domaine’s classic Chateauneuf du Pape wine is predominantly composed of Grenache along with a smaller proportion of Syrah and Mourvedre planted on rocky and sandy soils. Once vinified the young wine is aged in a combination of large casks, barrels and tanks for 16 months to add complexity and polish before bottling and release. The nose is heady and multi-layered, opening with luscious cassis, blackberry and plum notes along with hints of woodsmoke, tobacco leaf and dried fruits like raisins and figs. The first sip reveals a robust full body, firm tannins and well-built structure
