    Travaglini to rodzinna winiarnia, prowadzona obecnie przez czwarte i piąte pokolenie. Została założona w latach dwudziestych XX wieku w centrum Gattinara przez pioniera Clemente Travaglini, który dostrzegł niewykorzystany potencjał tego chłodnego, alpejskiego regionu.Gattinara to jedna z najstarszych włoskich apelacji, która uzyskała status DOC już w 1967 roku, a DOCG w 1990 roku. Najbardziej znana jest z odważnych, bogatych w minerały win Nebbiolo, charakterystycznych dla upraw na glebach wulkanicznych. Jednak te z Travaglini wykorzystują każdy aspekt odważnego Nebbiolo. Il Sogno, czyli "Sen", powstaje w stylu Amarone, poprzez suszenie owoców na suszarniach i starzenie ich przez 3 lata w ogromnych, słowiańskich beczkach.
    Rezultatem jest potężne, wytrawne czerwone wino o wyrafinowanych smakach charakterystycznych dla szczepu Nebbiolo. W nosie wyczujemy intensywne aromaty wiśni, jeżyn i śliwek, podkreślone nutami octu balsamicznego i przypraw. W ustach jest ciepłe i pikantne, otulając podniebienie kocem dżemu jeżynowego, czarnej wiśni, kakao i nutami ziół leczniczych, takich jak lukrecja i anyż gwiazdkowaty. Il Sogno będzie wyśmienitym doznaniem kulinarnym w połączeniu z mięsnym gulaszem lub risotto z bogatym sosem pomidorowym.
