Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, moje doświadczenia były pozytywne – mają szeroki wybór win, w tym takie, które trudno znaleźć gdzie indziej – to główny powód, dla którego wciąż u nich kupuję. Poza tym rabaty są uczciwe i często oferowane, ale… kody na pierwszą ofertę działają tylko przy pierwszej ofercie, co w porządku, ale po co w takim razie wysyłacie mi kupon w każdej zamówionej paczce, spamujecie mnie e-mailami i wyświetlacie go za każdym razem, gdy loguję się na stronie? To naprawdę mnie denerwuje... Poza tym ich system punktów lojalnościowych jest bezużyteczny – po pierwsze dlatego, że nawet po wydaniu 250 euro na jedno zamówienie dostaje się tylko grosze, a nawet te grosze tracą ważność, jeśli nie złoży się kolejnego zamówienia wkrótce, co jest co najmniej niesprawiedliwe... I wreszcie, jeśli trafisz na wino z posmakiem korka, wino z jakąkolwiek wadą lub wino, z którego wyciekło (moje ostatnie zamówienie zawierało butelkę Caymus Cabernet za 100 dolarów z nieszczelnym korkiem, przez co wino smakowało jak przegotowane i było bez życia), nie ma żadnej procedury umożliwiającej wymianę lub zwrot wina, ani uzyskanie zwrotu pieniędzy czy zamiennika – żadnej, co jest absolutnie niedopuszczalne dla każdego kolekcjonera win... Położona w Piemoncie, w bajecznym regionie Langhe, wpisanym na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO od 2014 roku, winnica Cordero di Montezemolo szczyci się ponad sześciowieczną historią. Posiadłość założyła rodzina Falletti, która rozpoczęła komercyjną produkcję wina w XIX wieku. Dziś firma, posiadająca około 50 hektarów winnic, należy do rodziny Cordero di Montezemolo.

Winogrona odmiany Arneis pochodzą z winnic należących do posiadłości, rozrzuconych po różnych miejscowościach regionu Langhe: La Morra, Alba, Guarene i Castagnito. Po zbiorach i fermentacji w zbiornikach ze stali nierdzewnej z kontrolowaną temperaturą gotowe wino leżakuje przez trzy miesiące na osadzie, a następnie przez kolejne dwa miesiące w butelkach, zanim trafi do sprzedaży.

W rezultacie powstaje eleganckie i wyrafinowane wino o typowym charakterze wspaniałych białych win z Piemontu i jasnym, słomkowo-żółtym kolorze. W nosie ujawnia bogaty i delikatny profil aromatyczny, w którym owocowe nuty jabłka i brzoskwini łączą się z kwiatowymi akcentami rumianku, kwiatu pomarańczy i polnych kwiatów. Na podniebieniu jest świeże i przystępne, żywe i harmonijne, z dobrze zrównoważoną kwasowością i delikatną owocowością. Finisz jest długi i przywołuje lekkie, lekko gorzkie nuty.
