    Początkowo osiedlając się w dolinie Barossa w latach czterdziestych XIX wieku, rodzina Kaesler szybko stała się jedną z pionierskich rodzin winiarskich w regionie. Swoje pierwsze winorośle zasadzili tutaj w 1893 roku i do dziś te starożytne rośliny stanowią trzon wielu ich najlepszych cuvees. Obecni właściciele są pasjonatami szlachetnego dziedzictwa Barossy, dlatego też realizują filozofię rolnictwa regeneracyjnego, która ma na celu pozostawienie ziemi w optymalnym stanie dla przyszłych pokoleń.
    Bogan to spektakularny cuvee, który wcześniej zdobył tytuł najlepszego australijskiego shiraza podczas Great Australian Shiraz Challenge. Owoce pochodzą z dwóch winnic, z których jedna zawiera stuletnie winorośle posadzone w 1899 roku, a druga pochodzi z 1965 roku. Stare winorośle produkują niewielkie ilości intensywnie skoncentrowanych owoców, podczas gdy młodsze winorośle dodają wigoru i równowagi.
    Rezultatem jest klasyczny, pełny Shiraz, który eksploduje soczystymi nutami cassis, jeżyn i śliwek, a następnie nutami cedru, przypraw i mocnego dymu drzewnego z dębowego starzenia.     The Bogan is a spectacular cuvee which previously won the title of Australia’s Best Shiraz at the Great Australian Shiraz Challenge. The fruit is sourced from two vineyards, one featuring centenarian vines planted in 1899 and the other dating back to 1965. The old vines produce tiny quantities of intensely-concentrated fruit while the younger vines add vigour and balance. The result is a classic full-throttled Shiraz that’s bursting with succulent cassis, blackberry and plum notes followed by undertones of cedar, spice, and heady woodsmoke from the oak ageing. The firm tannins and well-developed structure make this a great red to keep in the cellar for a few more years
