    Rodzina Sassetti produkuje wino w uroczym toskańskim miasteczku Montalcino od czterech pokoleń, a Livio był jednym z założycieli prestiżowego Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino.     This is the family’s signature Brunello is crafted from top quality Sangiovese Grosso grapes which are carefully harvested by hand at the end of September. The fruit is then gently crushed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The final stage is 36 months of ageing in traditional 33 hectolitre Slavonian oak casks followed by another 6 months resting in the bottle. Classic Brunello notes of bright red cherry, dark berries and plum dominate on the nose, accompanied by hints of leather, dried Mediterranean herbs, and sweet spice. On the palate there’s a robust full body, intense core of dark fruit, and firm tannins that will help this magnificent wine age beautifully in the cellar
