    Chociaż posiadłość Felsina jest najbardziej znana ze swoich legendarnych czerwonych win Chianti Classico wytwarzanych z tradycyjnego lokalnego szczepu Sangiovese, produkuje ona to wyrafinowane Chardonnay od pierwszego rocznika w 1987 roku. W wyniku wieloletnich eksperymentów i badań, winorośle produkujące te winogrona Chardonnay są szczepami francuskich klonów, które zostały posadzone na terenie posiadłości Felsina w pobliżu rzeki Ombrone.

    Przy każdym zbiorze winogrona są starannie zbierane i selekcjonowane ręcznie, a następnie tłoczone i fermentowane w beczkach z francuskiego dębu. Następnie wino dojrzewa w beczkach przez rok na osadzie drożdżowym i jest poddawane codziennej obróbce, aby uzyskać bogatą, kremową konsystencję i złożony profil smakowy. Po zakończeniu okresu dojrzewania wino jest butelkowane i leżakuje przez co najmniej trzy miesiące, zanim zostanie uznane za gotowe do wypuszczenia na rynek.

    Rezultatem jest białe wino o głębokim kolorze i urzekających aromatach białej brzoskwini, mango i wanilii. Pierwszy łyk ujawnia pełne ciało, mocną strukturę i intensywne aromaty owoców tropikalnych wraz z nutami słodkiej przyprawy do pieczenia zrównoważonej świeżą kwasowością. Bogaty, maślany charakter tego Chardonnay sprawia, że idealnie pasuje do risotto, kurczaka podawanego w kremowym sosie lub twardych serów.

    Each harvest the grapes are carefully picked and selected by hand before being pressed and fermented in French oak barrels. The wine is then matured in the barrel for a year on the lees and undergoes daily battonage to help create a rich, creamy texture and complex flavour profile. The result is a deeply-coloured white wine with enchanting aromas of white peach, mango and vanilla. The first sip reveals a full body, firm structure and intense tropical fruit aromas along with hints of sweet baking spice balanced by a fresh acidity. The rich, buttery character of this Chardonnay makes it an ideal match for risottos, chicken served in a creamy sauce or hard cheeses
